Beautiful Losers Question, by jnschicago on Oct 11, 2007 18:43:20 GMT 1, Does anyone know anything about the Beautiful Losers print count? Specifically, they all "sold out" within minutes of release...were listed as "sold out" for quite some time...and now a random print count seems to change almost daily...one day there might be 5 prints available...the next day 10 are available.
POW doesn't seem to play games with print counts on any other pieces do they? What's up with this series?

Beautiful Losers Question, by Backpack Punk on Oct 12, 2007 16:49:43 GMT 1, They were printed by Iconoclast and been around for years. It looks like POW picked them up from Iconoclast as a way to move them faster.
They were probably given a small number to start with and as POW sells them iconoclast gives them more. All these prints have been around for years on the iconoclast website.

Beautiful Losers Question, by Joe J on Oct 13, 2007 1:41:03 GMT 1, Iconoclast increased the price for the Henry Chalfant 'Lee Futura Dondi' print form $100US to $500US a few months ago.
I was trying to purchase the $100 from them for sometime but the site never worked. Also I sent half a dozen enquiry emails which I had no response too.
Then out of the blue one day I received a reply email informing me of the print was available and was I still interested. I was surprised when I went to the link and saw the adjusted price...
Cheeky.
I wish it wold pop back up again on POW, I'd rather purchase from them on principal now.

I know the site has been hacked several times and I couldn't say if all the problems have been fixed. I only give this as a heads up to people interested in buying from them directly.
