Kaws Puzzle Framing Question, by sufsean on Apr 21, 2020 18:48:15 GMT 1, Greetings,
I was looking for a puzzle on here, and a number of very kind members offered me one, so I was able to land one...so first off--- thanks!
My question is for those who framed these. Before we start putting the puzzle together---are there any steps/precautions that we should do before we start? and when done--what's the process like for taking this to a framers, etc...
stories, advice, photos--all appreciated- thanks again!

Kaws Puzzle Framing Question, by Smokeidaeye on Apr 21, 2020 18:54:07 GMT 1, We have not had ours framed yet but we did discover late in to the build that we should have started with something between the tabletop and the puzzle so it wouldn't ruin the table if some of the puzzle glue dripped through the cracks. Fortunately we were able to inch some pasteboard under once it was fully put together and now they are both glued and waiting for the framers to reopen.

First of all. Do not lose any pieces lol. And you can simply lay a layer or two or gift wrapping paper with the inside part facing up. I taped the paper to the edges of the table. After I glued mine I simply brought them in to the framer between 2 pieces of cardboard with masking tape on the edges

Kaws Puzzle Framing Question, by Smokeidaeye on Apr 22, 2020 17:31:16 GMT 1, sufsean We used puzzle glue made by Mod Podge. Brushed on about 3 coats on the front once it was complete then caaaaaaaaaarefully flipped it once dry and did an extra coat on the back. Great call on taking it to framers in cardboard @knowss!

Kaws Puzzle Framing Question, by Smokeidaeye on Apr 28, 2020 20:35:02 GMT 1, It looks like you could get frames for both for exactly $200 total at www.frameiteasy.com/.
I'm just not sure how to adhere the puzzle to the foam core backing or how the foam core would look in the empty space around the puzzle.
