This is nearly half retail and considerably less than I paid for it nearly 3 years ago. It's a great deal for someone.
It's framed in an artist designed brown and hand-gilded silver custom frame made by John Jones to the highest museum conservation standards. The reverse of the frame is constructed of mounting board, carefully cut to reveal the artist's signature, and covered completely in plexiglass. The frame alone cost ยฃ970.
It's very big at 132 x 97cm and is from an edition of only 50.

Winter, I may well do that if it doesn't sell on here. I'd get around the same for it (probably a little bit more) once all the fees are taken off so better to give someone the opportunity to have it for cheap rather then lining the pockets of a gallery.

This LED thing will burn out in a few years and you're left with nothing. I LOVE Opie's artwork but I'd prefer a non-LED image that will last forever under conservation framing. That said the price is good on this.
