Wanted Banksy donuts & pulp fiction , by sandinista on May 17, 2020 12:23:22 GMT 1, Chocolate always seems to be a lot cheaper than strawberry for some reason. I saw one sell for low 20's somewhere I cant recall a couple of months ago but changes like the weather, and i've no idea what covid has done to the market.

Actually chocolate has sold higher than strawberry on occasions too. There’s not much difference in price overall.

Im pretty sure the Chocolate version in this auction had some issues with the condition and the actual print had been cut down in size significantly. What a lot of people don’t really tend to discuss is that sometimes the reasons a certain piece can go for considerably less than previous auction or vice versa is because condition plays such a big part in the price.

I think it’s simply that people prefer the pink to the brown. From day 1 strawberry has commanded more. I remember someone asking $3k for strawberry while he wanted $2500 for chocolate. I should’ve bought both 🤦🏻♂️

Wanted Banksy donuts & pulp fiction , by Deleted on May 17, 2020 16:27:39 GMT 1, Not much difference between Chocolate and Strawberry Donuts now. Strawberry a few thousand higher in recent auctions (of prints without condition issues), but that's it.

It was Sotherbys online back in March and the Brown one had some creasing to it. The pink one which sold for a few grand more had been reduced in height by 6cm
