Hepworth Flash Sale , by Octopus UK on Jun 7, 2020 13:55:15 GMT 1, I miss the opportunity to visit The Hepworth (and the Yorkshire Sculpture Park). I planned to get to the Henry Moore exhibition but worries around travel by train stopped me. . On a previous occassion I picked up the Martin Parr book and photograph. They had about 5 of the edition available to pick from, so if you're intereted in a limited edition Martin Parr photograph at a good price, click the link now and support the gallery.

He also did a load of original brocolli prints on canvas. I love the sheer cheek of this print and it's very much this artist's style (this is the artist who chewed gum and stuck it on the wall as a sculpture in his Turner Prize-winning show). Colourful too.

I like broccoli. It's my favourite vegetable. I eat broccoli every day. I like prints made from broccoli because they look like pictures of trees, and I like trees. But I don't know what colours I like, so I thought I could try a mixture of different colours.

Martin Creed: What's the point of it? at Hayward Gallery, London was my second-favourite exhibition of 2014. Great fun, as well as being an ambitious show. [For me, it was topped only by Henri Matisse: The Cut-Outs at Tate Modern.]
If you were able to attend, you may recall Work No. 1000 (2009–10), consisting of 1000 prints of cross-sections of broccoli. They were in various paints on card, each measuring 18 x 18 cm:
