Ben Eine will be ever valuable?, by drip on Jun 10, 2020 21:19:34 GMT 1, That's a really good question. I guess that would depend on how one defines valuable. I mean, they have a value right now. Are you asking more about investment potential?

Ben Eine will be ever valuable?, by Deleted on Jun 10, 2020 21:41:56 GMT 1, It’s actually a simple formula
Take what you paid for the print, divide it by how many teeth he has left. Times by his many tattoos and then subtract the number of people who think he’s a melt,.
Your print is currently worth zippidy f**k

Ben Eine will be ever valuable?, by Gurn on Jun 10, 2020 22:25:03 GMT 1, It's quite possible that future collectors will look at his obsession with letters and fonts, his 'progression' from writer to a prolific, global artist courted by world leaders and see him as a single minded, maverick genius. The fact that his form of street art is different to most might make his work stand out and be looked upon as something to be sought after. Not now, not next year, maybe not in ten years but sometime in the future art lovers, often entranced by the idea of a troubled genius may forgive his shortcomings and his works go on to fetch huge sums...it wouldn't be the first time.

You can see how the forum reacted after the news came out, as it should have.

Speaking with great authority: Yes, they will be very valuable in the future. I would highly recommending investing a large percentage of a person's funds into Ben Eine prints. You'll thank me when you're old and grey.

It’s cruel to go that to an ant hill. The kid that did that was usually an intellectually challenged bully. That reminds me of a time when I was about 8 years old. I was playing by a local pond with the other kids from my street, and this pond and the land around it was just awash with frogs. Big ones, small ones, massive ones, they were everywhere. Anyway, this one kid (an older kid - described at the time as hyperactive by his mum because he once tried to make a hole through their kitchen wall with a knife and fork) picked up a rock and started pounding as many frogs as he could. It was horrific and I wasn't having it. I considered punching him a lot but he was bigger than me and my life isn't a movie where things work out well in the end for the wimpy kid. So I did the next best thing; I found this old bucket, then started gathering up as many frogs as I could find.
After about half an hour of solid Kermit grabbing, I must've had about 80 - 100 frogs. And I dragged, DRAGGED this ribbiting and croaking bucket back up the hill to my house, up the stairs and into my bedroom. I figured they could stay the night or a few days, until it was safe to take them back to their pond. I slid the bucket under a chair in my room, and then went down for dinner.
I guess I just kinda figured the frogs would know to stay where they were, but, about half an hour later, from upstairs, we heard the first of my sister's screams.
It was like a scene from a horror movie up there. We were still finding frogs over a week later. True story, my grandmother thought we'd been cursed.

Most of the art in this scene will return value how art use to be , when the artists are no longer around , so in eine case 40-50 year wait ? year wait until you Can seek the vast values

Or he had original banksy screens Still hidden somewhere for when times get tough

It’s value isn’t just the quality of the work. But the quality of the artist’s morals. Which is as stable as a crack addict’s mood swings. . Buy stocks if you want an “investment”.

It’s written in most investment journals that art is in fact the best investment if you know what you’re doing. Even a moron can by banksy and see a 20% YOY growth return. What else returns that?

Ben Eine will be ever valuable?, by e3massive on Jun 11, 2020 8:06:32 GMT 1, If you like his stuff buy it. If you are buying for investment, hmmmmm. His older stuff is pretty cool (Adventure, Exciting). His typography keeps changing so if you like it then yes. Investment, I think you can get what you are in it for, more than that it depends on the piece i guess and where / when you sell it. I had a black glitter Amazement and Amusement that sold via a gallery and got a little more that I paid for it. Like all art buy it if you like it. Otherwise buy a tracker fund! For full disclosure I still have the above and no I am not selling and I don't care if they are going up or down. I do have a black revolution (small edition), if someone wants that, but in it for a fair bit and not going to take a bath, so it can go on the wall. Peace out

That was awful when they first came out and still today , surprised he didn’t follow up with my little pony or what ever the cartoon was ? Any one seen the he man cartoons recently ? That was the best cartoon ever back in the 80s , everything about it when viewing now is terrible ! I caught some He-Man a few years ago (I make it sound like a virus), and like you said, back in the 80s it was unmissable television. My adult self could barely sit through 5 minutes of it, and yet I have such fond memories of it. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug.

Fond Memories now ruined!🙄😞 The storylines are laughable🤣 Another 80s show I caught recently was the terror hawks !now that is still good , can’t believe it was geared towards 5-10 year oldS all the modern comparatives seem soft
