CONDITION REPORT

Weston Super Mare, 2003 Screenprint, edition of 750, 35 x 100, Published by Pictures on Walls

Footnote:
These lots are being authenticated by Pest Control Office (International art centre will receive the certificates in due course they will be made available to the purchaser.)
International Art Centre guarantees these works are 100% original.

PROVENANCE:
Private Collection, Auckland, Purchased from Pictures on Walls, London, 2005 by current owner.

Condition Report:
Very faint mount-staining along the upper edge from previous mount. Paper is clean, otherwise the prints area in very good condition. Please see images attached.

Framing:
The Banksy’s are framed using all archival techniques.
Including top of the line 99% UV Museum glass, premium conservation acid free mats and backings.
The works are floated and hinged with paper hinges, which are Museum grade.

This is all so that the artworks can be removed from their frames and hinges and returned to their original state.
These techniques ensure the preservation of the Artwork.

This is only in the unlikely event that authenticity is not approved by Pest Control. We have been in contact with them though and am hoping we get confirmation before the sale date. i doubt you will be the last person to state that things will slow down or that these prices are crazy etc, many have said as much over the last 10-15 years. Its not that long ago that our very own Posterbob was proclaiming that its not worth bothering your arse to have unsigned prints.

Aye you might be right but a quick review of historic posts in this forum alone will show that it's littered with comments from years gone by along the lines that these prices cant go higher or they are crazy etc but apart from the occasional slow down or stagnant period, prices have generally gone up. 

As people are priced out of the market, they get replaced by newer richer people or people who cash in on what they own to fund a different print or whatever. I don't know if the folks who are buying now are those who would have purchased gold in times of impending economic crisis as the current market seems a bit madder than it has been in recent times, even for unsigned tatt as Bob would call it.

I can remember when I first came on to this forum when it was the Banksyforum. I ended up buying this Banksy IFTL unsigned piece for $1000 which seemed crazy at the time. Signed Banksy was only 2-3k USD.

I spent my 13 dollar an hour chef money to buy It just because his work at the time captured me as it did so many others. My wife thought I was on some Jack and the Beanstalk shit.. turns out golden eggs are really real

I remember reading a quite from him once saying that people are sometimes inclined to invest in “butterflies” rather than stocks.
I’m my opinion ..Both may go up or down but these are the ones I want to hold onto.

I’m into precious metals and art.. of which my art outpaced even gold I own. Banksy has an average of 50-100% growth a year
