I mean... they look cool actually and itโs a nice idea on your part but canโt you still buy these from NGV for like $25 US? Obviously framing adds some cost as well.

Yes, they are still for sale on the NGV site.ย With shipping it comes out to almost $50 USD and they take ~1 month to arrive.ย It takes about 1 hour to remove the stitches from the bag and then you're looking at spending ~$150 to get it professionally stretched to a canvas and framed.ย I've done all of that for you, and saved you the time and hassle for about the same price.

To be fair, these look really smart and why not...pricing is a bit ambitious but wishing you all the best and hope you make some sales... Thank you, and I'm not really making a crazy profit on these. The cost of the professional framing and stretching of the canvas is a big chunk of the costs. It started off as a quarantine / covid project but I was not happy with the results and quickly learned making frames is a lot harder than it looks. In the end I decided the quality of the final product was more important and I decided to pay professionals to do it. |
