A lot of members on the forum have been around โthe sceneโ for a loooong time. Has anybody ever had any direct dealings with or met Banksy in person? Did anyone buy art direct back in the day and have a chat whilst doing so? Does anyone ever drop Banksy a text message to check in during lockdown? Any stories to share of old POW sales/shops etc.?

I started collecting around the time that all things Banksy Weโre really taking off. I would have loved to have been able to attend early shows etc. but such is life.

Old threads are a good read and interesting to find similar questions you ask, most likely with the banksy market as is those that have a pass will keep close to their chest otherwise will be receiving plenty of dms!๐คฃ
Completely off track , a lady gave away a morons print free in America a few years back in a giveaway thread here , are the members still here?

His team grabbed him really quickly and said โwe need to go nowโ... off he/they went in a van. Brainwashs manager, who was living in my building at the time, and knows him confirmed It was him.

I booked a 4 day trip , on the last day they were setting up the nativity play so booked an extra 3 days , met Danny Boyle at the fake star bucks in Bethlehem square ,
Booked all the rooms except the shared lodgings .
VIP room ๐๐๐
Amazing trip , especially if you are interested in history and architecture, just wandering around town is fun and found the old market where Only the localS Frequent , a must do trip

But at the time he was one of many artists from the show. He also was a guide for a friend of mine in London back in the days. I am not sure if I have or have not met him, we didnt care much about that years ago
