In addition to the solo show at the MOCAD, two paintings in the current LSC show, and one painting in the current Cranbrook show. One of Egyir's paintings was featured in the new Beyonce movie along with other artists like Derrick Adams, Woodrow Nash and Rob Pruitt.

Not sure how any of the US artists are similar at all, same with Hetty Douglas. Certainly similarities between Vallance and Cantor given that (I think) they are married and work together. Kerwick was previously discussed in another thread, and his works are continuing to rise. All irrelevant though given that I stated they are artists to watch based on recent and upcoming shows and general gallery attention, not that they are all completely different styles. Though I suppose you could also say that Kaws could’ve painted all of Friedman’s works - it’s all hype anyway...

Inquired about buying a piece but he wasn't (at the time) shipping outside of LA. That was about a year ago, not sure if situation has changed since then.

With regard to Tony Camaro, I had the same issue. I think he is still only selling his work in LA. He did tell me he was working on a new solo show, however, so maybe there’ll be an opportunity for work when that happens.
