Advice - art in a room with a woodburner, by duffer31 on Jul 15, 2020 8:38:15 GMT 1, I seem to remember reading that a woodburner is bad for artworks (not in the sense that fire and paper don't go well together), but can no longer find this online. Does anyone have any knowledge on the subject?
No experience, but my mate had a wood burner and it was smokey. This a long time ago and maybe modern ones are better. He did get a new one and the walls in the room didn’t look as bad they were before. (He said cleaning process was a lot less hassle - I remember him carry out a biscuit tin of soot with the old one).
My only dilemma is having art and the mother in law in the same room.
