i wonder to know what they will display instead of this.

I can only imagine how humbling it would feel to assist parents and children alike at their most vulnerable moments during critical hospital stays and improve their chances for recovery.

if i had the money, I would  buy it  in a heart beat. that being i was still alive and not drowning in debt.

Without detracting from discussion of the piece itself the timing of the PR stunt / new street work on the tube to coincide with the commencement of marketing of an original work sold to raise money for good causes is the absolute pinnacle of artistic career management. A combination of furthering his career, maximising the hammer price , helping a worthy cause and giving the public something relevant and well executed for all to enjoy simultaneously is utterly genius and sets the artist apart from anyone else in my view.
This team of artist, studio, management and auction house support is textbook perfect and will be viewed as such in retrospect when art history books review such things.

The fireplace was one of my favourite pieces/settings at the Walled Off. In many ways I hated them as they were so depressing. l really felt annoyed and guilty for liking them, especially when u understand what it’s depicting. I found the image and setting particularly haunting and loved it for that. I suppose it made me question multiple things, I immediately understood it, liked it and hated myself for liking it and wanting to own it, considering what it depicts. After that I had no doubt of Banksy’s genius. ButI don’t think I could ever hang it on my wall, for me the image is brilliant but too savage, affordability aside.

It’s not going to do near that but it will do well.

The life jackets on the beaches are in the same vein as the pile of shoes in the concentration camps. A shocking reminder of all that is left behind of the people who wore them.

Im sure he got exactly what he wanted. Alot of money to donate. I just wish I would of been the one to hav been able to give it to him. a in exchange for the 3 paintings.
