Dran Rat Poster - waives in print, by bestdj777 on Aug 11, 2020 2:43:01 GMT 1, Hi all,
I have a Dran Rat Poster, which, for those that arenโt familiar, is a really oversized poster (24โ by 36โ if memory serves me correctly) on a really thin, almost newspaper like paper stock. I purchased it a few months ago, put it in a poster-type frame (the same frame I use for all of my posters and prints), and hung it. Never had an issue with my prints or posters and most have been up for years. This one, however, has started to get wavy around the top border (and possibly bottom but the lighting is poor in the room so I couldnโt tell at this time of day). Any ideas what the issue could be? When I took it out it went flat again right away. I am thinking that it might just be that the paper is too thin for it to keep It up with just the backer and glass holding it in place. Thoughts? Itโs in a basement but I havenโt noticed any humidity issues. And, if Iโm correct, whatโs the best solution? Was thinking maybe of getting a framer to mount it to a backer board with hinges, but not sure if that will solve it and, if so, what Iโd be looking at in terms of cost.
Thank you,
Chris

Dran Rat Poster - waives in print, by Skizz 82 on Aug 11, 2020 11:10:09 GMT 1, I would try with another frame ..... maybe humidity .... maybe the uneven pressure of the frame
