Still one of my favourite images of his. It wasn't a favourite of most collectors back then. At the same time, I was offered Millers hand finished "fuck art" diptych from source for $7k. I went with the diptych, hoping to one day pick up morons when I could get some more funds together.
I saw his prices climbing, last year I got together 20k for morons. Then found myself in a weird and random position to buy Banksquiat from source instead. I chose Banksquiat. I think (?) I made the right decisions both times (financially). Morons is still a favourite image of mine. Congrats to all who own one. Very jealous.
One day ill try to scoop one. (Probably at 50k knowing my timing.)
