We are delighted to be working with the fantastic team at Clown Skateboards and releasing their first Clown Original artwork with the iconic image designed by Banksy himself.
"The guys at Stowe Gallery have been working with a ton of other artists in the Urban art world for many years. And as they have also moved in the same circles as the main man himself, it was a simple choice as to whom we would choose to release the first ever Clown Original with.
Stowe Gallery's whole business is obviously art, so our mutual interests of art, skate and beer had to come together eventually.

Clown has been working with artists from their very inception: Mau Mau, Adam Neate, Ludo, Jock and one or two others you might have heard of...
Just how did Clown get Banksy to do their logo?
In 2000, Banksy and the founders of Clown Skateboards, Jeff Boardman and Vikas Malik came together to showcase his work for the very first time in London with the now legendary โRivington Street Exhibitionโ and for the release of the first little black book โBanging My Head Against A Brick Wallโ.
After the show Jeff and Vikas, who had been looking to start their own brand that incorporated their worlds of Art, Music and Skateboarding, asked Banksy to create the Clown logo and designs for the first 2 boards.

It's a banksy designed logo, and they're free to use it as the wish, but someone would have to be crazy (or under the impression this was an official Banksy product) to pay that price!
