Biggest win was Banksquait (grey) that hit a stella price, followed by Love Rat u/s that sky rocketed!! GWB was lower than expected as perhaps was CYW grey but they were still good numbers. Signed WSM was the only true bargain. Here are the prices. GWB now has a bid and I would expect a light flurry on some of the bigger pieces such as CYWs, Christ With Shopping Bags etc as well as we get in to the last hour/minutes. Laugh Now is a bargain as it stands, as is Pulp Fiction which has no bids, but has been seen a lot in the last 18 months. The last Christies Online Auction saw nearly everything sold, as well as a calamitous system crash. Could be good watch time to get a cup of tea!!!

My experience with Ch%^ties and a well know banksy dealer over the last 4 months have been appalling. Promotion for the former has been next to nothing. I actually got a call from Christies with an hour to go telling me someone was going to put in a higher a bid but they wanted 90 days to settle up. I said that was fine. Needless to say that bid never materialised. I have never dealt with less professional people in any walk of life. Sometimes its taken months to get an email reply. I don't know how these people keep their jobs.. What I will tell you all is that if you thinking of selling your Banksy. Do it ASAP.. I have been told over the years to sell mine as prices won't go up any higher. This is the first time I believe this to be true. I hope for your sakes I am proved wrong but whole thing has been a nightmare for me (1st world problems I know!) |

Not sure of any of them reaching โฌ1m in any time soon but I am equally sure that the market is not going to significantly change as we appear to have returned to less volatile times and will now see the more normal value increases that have been seen historically.
High edition COA'd GDP products and prints will see very high opening values before they slip back and normalise. This will apply to Banksquait and Thrower. All my own views!

I suspect edition size and publicly owned numbers are quite far apart but I cannot of course confirm this
As with you my views are my own and reality is that Banksquiat probably will level to around CYW level although which CYW colorway it will par to us hard to guess
