Stik Korean order, by Lroy on Sept 1, 2020 22:25:04 GMT 1, In all the Internet, social media and forums, you have not the right to make discrimination about diseases real or not, as for women and people from other countries or continents. Autism is a serious disease. It’s condamnable. I don’t know if Proboards would be agree, it’s in the rules, you can ask Daniel Silk. I have had my part too by PW too. Pathetic. With whom are you directing your comment to ?
To Shadowman, I just quoted the last post, as you wrote a link. Sorry

Stik Korean order, by rosac on Sept 1, 2020 22:32:31 GMT 1, I’m totally lost *can anyone help with court proceedings about getting my 20 mins back? I’ll gladly remove this from A solicitors hands - if anyone can tell me what’s going on. It feels like a late Friday night after a couple of bottles of red and we decide to watch an art house subtitled film 🥴 Let me try to help you out. A group of adults wanted to buy a Korean book about a dude made out of sticks. Some dude that lives in the shadows wanted to facilitate a group purchase of said books. Some Irish dude with PTSD from some previous dude trying to scam people on this forum noticed a familiar pattern and/or red flags and tried to warn the group about the dude from the shadows. So then, the shadow dude, annoyed by the Irish dude, threatened litigation against the Irish dude, in which said Irish dude told said shadow dude to go fuck themselves. Shadow dude, frustrated with all of the pushback, decides to say fuck it, and remove his offer to facilitate the purchase of the books from Korea about the dude made out of sticks. He decides that eBay is where this should all transpire henceforth. It seems there are some forum members that are unfazed by all of this, and still wish to take part in dealings with the dude that lives in the shadows and they are now sad because the book from Korea about the dude made out sticks currently eludes them. I hope that clears things up.
And this should be the closing statement for this thread.
Can we close it now?

Erm - it will be my last intervention. Autism is a real disease, there is associations fighting against these kind of words, as Aspergus and Alzheimer’s.. I know what I’m talking about. Some Very close people near me are suffering of that.

I agree There is No point explaining to an individual that assumes that it is excepted behaviour to mimic or jest if one has any of those conditions Mentioned ,displays lack of empathy , moral integrity and shows ignorance Within the individual , karma and life lessons will come around at some point

We can't close it yet, at least wait for the books to arrive.

Stik Korean order, by qwerty on Sept 1, 2020 22:55:05 GMT 1, Irl1 you been drinking. Log back in tomorrow when your sober. Is it true have you got PTSD or Asperger's or autism like others have said by pm. If so take care and get some rest. No need for that, PTSD, Aspergers and Autism are not to be thrown around as insults / stigmatisms and trying to make someone paranoid about what's been said about them in DMs is also a low blow.

Pretty sure VAT on books is 0%. Customs will likely charge 20% on arrival and you will need to claim it back.
You will need a Korean bank account to order the Korean books direct though, and I think OP has cleared them out of the UK books as they are no longer on the website.

What nonsense ? www.gov.uk/goods-sent-from-abroad/tax-and-duty
The only nonsense is people declaring as art to only pay 5% tax and claim back 15% vat
It is a book so will be 20% , people worrying about £4?🤯🥴🥱

Stik Korean order, by tab1 on Sept 7, 2020 10:23:48 GMT 1, With the craziness with Thierry noirs market , mr doodle and banks stickers all of which people are prepared to spend over £1000 on items
These stik posters will be there soon At these crazy prices , the U.K. allocated books are now sold out from the publishers (took 4 years ) The American market and Korean market were most likely produced in lesser numbers
Currently the Korean book can be picked up for £40 on eBay but people will still moan that it is double the price then once untrainable the same people will be happy to pay £300
With prints now out of reach of most the book prints are the most affordable piece of stik art for now

Stik Korean order, by Retired Collector on Sept 7, 2020 16:40:58 GMT 1, I don't understand the thinking that just because an artist has valuable work, anything of theirs is valuable. That seems like such a short term bubble, that won't survive the hype.
Take Salvador Dali, his most expensive piece is similar to Banksy 22 Million. But I can still pick up originals of his (not of famous stpye) for 10's of thousands fineart.ha.com/artist-index/dali-salvador.s?id=500009365 and plate signed original editions for £50 www.ebay.com/itm/163145558157
I think a lot of this memorabilia, is being bought by people who wished they had bought a Banksy, but won't hold it's value long term.

A page of a book is not a "plate signed original edition"

Some nice pieces in Heritage alright but look at the prices.
