Laz and Tate ward can manipulate lower tier market prices and obviously some people will be happy to defend as it increases their collection value . PCO wont authenticate gift prints fullstop - its not exclusively Laz. PCO does authenticate some gift prints. It depends on the recipient/intention when gifting. There are many gift prints with COAs.
That said, I do not think I have seen any of the Cans/GDP/Dismaland/BOTI gift prints with COA. The ones with COAs tend to be gift prints from regular editions, but outside of the edition. There was a gifted/personalized HMV with PC COA that sold at auction recently.

None of the GDP stuff has COA’s yet. And they are not gifts

Also found one of these in a lockdown clear out. Kind of miss the old Observer music freebies - some decent ones over the years... The launch edition.

Banksy
Zapatista Tour Postcard
Back in 2000, Banksy accompanied Bristol’s Easton Cowboys and Cowgirls football teams on a tour of Mexico’s southern Chiapas region. The area's where the the Zapatista ‘libertarian socialist’ movement remains at odds with the Mexican government. While the team played against local sides to highlight their cause, Banksy did the same with some murals… and also allegedly played in goal a few times.
We have a promotional postcard-sized flyer for this unique tale in Banksy’s story for sale online now. It comes with a provenance letter from Laz Emporium.

‘Baby it’s cold outside’ so this month we’re unveiling the first ever interior design works produced at our new Wild West Country studio.
The two suavely romantic bed linen sets that you see below were created by artist Charming Baker and myself respectively. They’re just the first of many limited edition pieces in production that will exclusively be available at Laz emporium, and are the likes of which even that Kevin McCloud off of Grand Designs on Channel Four has never seen.
Watch this space. Also take time to rummage in the racks over on the Laz Emporium website, because as per usual the selection below is only a snapshot of all the cool stuff we’ve got online.

Santa’s Ghetto Invitation 2003
This seminal pop-up store, if you can contemplate such a thing, was on Kingley Court round the back of Carnaby Street or thereabouts. Fair play, it’s a bit of a blur (no pun intended). Puma donated a bunch of trainers to be ‘customised’ and Jamie Hewlett wrote ‘Nike’ on them in felt tip then sold them for £22. Apparently. I only just read that in an Independent article from the time that old schoolers will find priceless. Google it or whatever!
Anyway, these are the invites that we handed out. They’ve got a reindeer roasting on a spit on them, naturally. Nowadays of course a ‘stiffy’ or cardboard invitation is considered rather classy, and quite right too.

Lazemporium, by irl1 on Feb 3, 2021 14:19:30 GMT 1, Vinyl Back in Stock!
Sound boys and girls can get lost in the racks over in the Collectibles section. We've got a smattering of hard-to-find Banksy vinyl record sleeves back in stock, including a super-rare Blur promo CD and white label 12" single plus pioneering UK hip-hop artwork featuring the 'Grand Theft Audio' image in various stages of alarm. Ideal for that shelf above the Technics where you display all your choicest cuts. Stay alpha through the tough times everyone. Big up Captain Tom.
Until next time, I remain,
Laz
