Laz and Tate ward can manipulate lower tier market prices and obviously some people will be happy to defend as it increases their collection value . PCO wont authenticate gift prints fullstop - its not exclusively Laz.
The banksy nerds would know that but not the new high end big spenders money crowd

The banksy nerds would know that but not the new high end big spenders money crowd So how comes HOFA Gallery bought all of Ben Eines gift prints from him? There is a market, and always has been for non-CoA'd works of art by Banksy. Also gift prints are sold and bought on this forum quite regularly. The Di-faced Tenners dont have coa's nor do posters. It just depends on 1. the provenance and 2. the price.

He is a legend in his own mind and to some people. Can’t deny that.
If you saw the price list for his prints.... I saw them before he put them up on the site... they are very very expensive. They will come with his own COA and he will tell you after you buy it you can register them with pest control... you cannot. You will be stuck with a 100,000 dollar print no one will take. I don’t think that is good business practice but each to their own..
Also about the tenners... someone mentioned pest control doesn’t use them on the new COAs. This is also not true. I just got a couple new COA s and they all have tenners. So where is the limit on these. It really wouldn’t surprise me Laz and pest control are still making them. I could be wrong but there are a lot of new ones being sold or put on new pest control COAs.

Lazemporium, by jimmyjam on Dec 20, 2020 2:52:01 GMT 1, Another thing - pest control always helped with approvals before you purchased a print, if you asked them, but they made the service available on their site about a week after they found out about Laz selling prints,
I’m sure there are multiple reasons they offer it now online but Laz, I’m guessing, is one of the reasons.

It shouldn’t. No pest control COA = no sales and no respectable auction house will take them period.
Also a side note - totally off Banksy so sorry about this - but as more and more auctions go online only or online you will see a lot of manipulation going on in the art market.
Many collectors and galleries can hide behind a email/account and bid up prices to keep their invests/artist artificially high. I’m seeing this happen more and more today especially during the pandemic as everything is online based now. It’s not illegal to do and who is to stop anyone from doing this now? It will affect everyone art market though in someway.

If I remember rightly I ended up having two different emails for them. And ended up sending the same message to both then they replied. Hope this helps

Lazemporium, by irl1 on Dec 29, 2020 13:50:29 GMT 1, LAZEMPORIUM.COM We thought this was worth tapping you on the shoulder about during your holiday break. To celebrate the birth of my daughter, Star Lazarides, and the first year of Laz Emporium, we're giving away a DiFaced Tenner and more on New Year’s Eve 2020.
To win, you must be following the new @lazemporium Instagram account when we make the draw on the evening of 31st December this year. We’ll announce the winners on the @lazemporium channel.
The runners-up prizes are a six feet by four feet photo print of my ‘Balloon Fight’ image, printed on aluminium, and an artists’s proof of ‘Anonymous Three’ which sold out recently through the online store. The other artists’ proof of that edition is hanging on my sitting room wall.
Worth adding: I’ve been digging in the archive over Christmas and we’ll be adding some fantastic collectibles and other pieces to the store which will drop on January 3rd. Stay locked.
Here’s some tantalising photos of the prizes.
Runner-up prize one: Artist's Proof of Anonymous Three by Steve Lazarides (there's ten in the regular sold out edition and two artists' proofs). Pictured: me at the studio spraying the edition.
Runner-up prize two: a six feet by four feet aluminium edition of 'Ballon Fight' photographed by myself.
Good luck and see you on Insta!
Until then, I remain

Lazemporium, by Matt on Jan 3, 2021 13:46:23 GMT 1, It's an "emporium" : obvious rip offs, not so good deals, some really dodgy stuff, but also some nice finds
At least we get to see some pretty cool rarities in this drop : - Wrong War t shirt even rarer than the Turf War one - Burner prize COA quite cool although I have seen better condition ones - Cargo & Rivington Street flyers pi had never seen - Zapatista Tour is quite unique ! I would assume few people here even knew about this
worth a look even you have no intention to buy

As already stated this appears to be the 2001 version, I’ve got the 2013 - 6th reprint which has the same cover and looks cool - especially alongside the 2009 version (1st printing), which has a gold and black cover!
May get them framed at some point or even read them, heaven forbid

Lazemporium, by lha on Jan 3, 2021 16:05:43 GMT 1, It seems some interesting pieces of history once again sold for big prices on LazEmporium today for the January drop. Thoughts.... 💭 Does anyone here own any of these original early artefacts from Banksy’s career that are coming to light more & more often now it seems?
Here’s one of approx 300 t shirts that were made/sold to support the water projects in Mexico. Produced by Screen 3, Stokes Croft, in 2001. The first ‘official’ Banksy t shirt. The image was a digital image taken from the Banksy ‘Spot The Ball’ canvas that was raffled to support the water projects also. The canvas didn’t have the ball on the image.. Fortunate to pick up the t shirt recently. A favourite Banksy image with personal meaning having played in goal for the Easton Cowboys for a couple of seasons from 1999.
Pic below is the ‘Spot The Ball’ canvas that was raffled, followed by the mural B painted on the Mexico tour.

Lazemporium, by lha on Jan 3, 2021 16:07:37 GMT 1, It's an " emporium" : obvious rip offs, not so good deals, some really dodgy stuff, but also some nice finds At least we get to see some pretty cool rarities in this drop : - Wrong War t shirt even rarer than the Turf War one - Burner prize COA quite cool although I have seen better condition ones - Cargo & Rivington Street flyers pi had never seen - Zapatista Tour is quite unique ! I would assume few people here even knew about this worth a look even you have no intention to buy
See the t shirt in the previous post! One of the murals Banksy painted was restored in 2012, will pop a couple of pics up when I find them.

Lazemporium, by treblenobass on Jan 3, 2021 16:15:52 GMT 1, It seems some interesting pieces of history once again sold for big prices on LazEmporium today for the January drop. Thoughts.... 💭 Does anyone here own any of these original early artefacts from Banksy’s career that are coming to light more & more often now it seems? Here’s one of approx 300 t shirts that were made to support the water projects in Mexico. Produced by Screen 3, Stokes Croft, in 2001. The image was a digital image taken from the ‘Spot The Ball’ canvas that was raffled to support the water projects also. The canvas didn’t have the ball on the image. Fortunate to pick up the t shirt recently. A favourite Banksy image with personal meaning having played in goal for the Easton Cowboys for a couple od seasons from 1999. Incredible image & story. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻

Lazemporium, by blurp on Jan 3, 2021 16:23:24 GMT 1, Laz has become a hanger on trying to stay relevant by becoming a tat salesman and reseller. Laz is the Pete Best of street art.

Lazemporium, by Balboa on Jan 3, 2021 16:51:31 GMT 1, For those who thought that 3D could still be Banksy, Laz’s prices for his artwork will prove that he’s not.
