How do I hang this frame?, by kuni on Sept 12, 2020 16:07:55 GMT 1, Time to put the Insect on the wall and realized I donโt now how to affix this type of sawtooth frame to the wall. Feeling kind of like an idiot, so please go easy on me. All of my other frames have a wire or are small enough to just hang from a nail. Thinking that maybe I hang the jagged edge onto a nail?
There are sawtooth metal pieces on either side of the top of the frame.
Thank you!

How do I hang this frame?, by quinn on Sept 12, 2020 17:11:45 GMT 1, Basically two decent screws in the wall sticking out enough to not touch the back of the frame. The steps in the hangers are for levelling it once itโs hung. Measure center to center from one hanger to the other. Put two screws in (level) at that distance. The weight is a downward force and the screw head will stop it ever falling forward. Edit : just noticed the arrows on the hangers. Measure from one arrow to the next

Ended up just using regular hooks and it seems to be on the wall securely.
It's fairly flush against the wall, and I attached two small rubber bumpers to the bottom corners to give the frame a bit of breathing room on the bottom as well.

How do I hang this frame?, by Reader on Nov 22, 2020 11:26:57 GMT 1,
Maybe someone can help on here. I recently bought a "neon" sign. It has two holes in the acrylic that the metal wires can pass through and then up to the ceiling mounts. Those two small square objects in the first image, are for threading the wire through. The wire has a round ball on the end...do i just make a small loop through these "objects" and then "crimp" them with plyers, or pull the whole wire through, so that the "ball" stops it passing through ?
Not easy to describe :-)

Pull the whole wire through. Tug on it to see if the ball is large enough to handle the pressure. Sometimes these are cheaply made and you may need to double up on the size of the ball so it doesnโt pass through the metal piece.

Thanks, so basically like this, and then pull the "object" down to the frame ?

The piece you drew on the right is attached to your wall. If you have drywall you will want to use drywall anchors as screwing straight into the wall may not last with this type of weight pulling.
You place the ball on the wire behind the piece on the wall where the wire comes through the hole. Tug on it a bit to see if the ball on the wire will hold. Level those two wall attachments with the right size between them (size from each wire holding on back of LED sign).
Then you do what you did in the first picture. I am unsure if the wires are perfectly same size, but you can pinch that silver clamp holding both wires at the end to make sure your sign is level
