Will Invader ever release another print?, by Mark on Sept 16, 2020 18:45:17 GMT 1, What's everyones thoughts on if Invader will ever release prints or invader kits to the public?
He seems to have a massive following, and doing shows here and there, but seems reluctant to release anything other than a few t-shirts and DVD's.
Whilst I appreciate his work is valuable and he wants to avoid people cashing in, it's a real shame regular collectors who aren't loaded cannot obtain any of his work.
Does anyone think he'll ever release anything?

it's a real shame regular collectors who aren't loaded cannot obtain any of his work.
theres threads on how to make your own if you search. if youre in love with the image but not the pricetag, you can look at invaders all day long.

Bots are pointless for Invader releases.
His space shop releases are actually easier to score the old fashioned way than to bot.
Many of his last print releases were in person

In terms of print releases, i've been following him for some time and had many conversations with Orbi since the middle of 2017, but have never seen any print releases come up, so i'd be interested to know where these releases actually take place? Orbi has been quite frank since that date that the Space Shop wont launch, and when it did, no prints were actually released, forcing some people to frame their bags and tshirts. A shame really...
It would just be nice if Invader made an open edition print available to the public, it would satisfy those who love his work and want to genuinely own a piece, and ensure they cannot be flipped, but still allow him to make good money from selling limited run items to those wealthy collectors. I guess this goes for most artists.
I guess this is why I admire artists like Pure Evil, you can spend a fortune if you want to collect something unique or a low run release, but he also makes it affordable and avilable for the average Joe to collect his work. Surely selling direct to fans is better than forcing them to go to an action house or gallery to aquire anything, something most artists are "apparently" against.
Anyway, only my opinion, don't take offense, I know many of you disagree or think you should pay the price for owing certain artists work.

RVE was the last print to be released via the space shop. LED was released online by laz. the rest of the print releases since then have been in person.

haha I wasn't comparing them as artists, more the way they conduct business and treat those that admire, supprt and follow them. Don't take too much offense :-) Hirst, Shepard Fairey and even Banksy have made recent work affordable and accessible.

they added a product page, and it was even up for 10 minutes or so. was about 10 months ago, a couple of months after the in person release iirc. orbi said it was a test page and was never live.
