What would be the process in getting it insured? Do I need a valuation first?

They don't require a valuation of your work up to 250k if im not mistaken. They would pay out the value of the artwork at the time of the incident.
I dealt with them a little while ago, they look quite good, bit slack and slow at responding though. I had to chase them a bit...
