Blankets to protect framed art while storing, by JAlternatión on Oct 8, 2020 9:21:31 GMT 1, I have too may framed pieces for my wall, with more to come and am wanting to protect them as well as i can while thy are not hanging. This is probably a stupid question, but galleries seem to have their art wrapped in thicker blankets than i have been using... anything in this? Is there any recommendations people have for storing multiple framed items together?

There are material bags made for framed pieces, but I think they are quite expensive. I'll see if I can find a link

I feel your pain my brother, my advice is to do what I did and buy a bigger house, so you don't have to worry about storage.

Funnily enough, that's exactly the plan.... but i already have most of the new house walls filled i think! If only i'd snapped up all those Banksys when i could have done a few years ago I'd be able to afford the 8 bed mansion i could really do with haha |
