Don't know if this is accurate. This work was original sold at auction in 2006 as a single panel.
It subsequently got PC certification, which I don't believe they would give to a busted diptych.

No I shouldnโt think they would ..however it would be no less of a Banksy painting. Iโve definitely seen a diptych version of WSM and without the circular saw itโs just an oap on a bench, could be having a lovely day not just living by the sea in a dead end town until they die |

Interesting to see the evolution of this work, it looks like this piece in the auction is the original version without the saw blade? (or as stated below a rejected version)

edit: its obviously an image with a message but much more nuanced and subtle, the abject loneliness of an English resort town in the winter. Perhaps that's why it was signed anyway... a happy accident of sorts.

The Oh My God is one of my favorite Banksy pieces. It is a large piece, has the drips, text, stencil, on found metal etc. and is a great piece to end the Wall and Piece book. For me personally it is more typical Banksy than some of pieces that have achieved much higher prices and one I would much rather have on the wall.
