Flower With and without COA value, by Nuno on Oct 11, 2020 11:07:05 GMT 1, With all the talk about certain items having or not having COA or if they will be issued what do people think these items would be worth if they had a COA. I’m not saying they will have one but if they did what would the current value be? I’ll start with my own thoughts GDP RAT with coa = £28,000-£33,000 GDO CRISIS with coa = £35,000-£40,000 GDP FLOWER with coa = £40,000-£50,000 WELCOME MAT with coa = £70,000 DISMALAND GIFT PRINT SIGNED HAND FINISHED with coa = £60,000 GDP RAT GIFT PRINT SIGNED with coa = £48,000 CANS GIFT PRINT SIGNED with coa = £55,000 Im probably way off
I hope you’ve not spent too much time thinking about this...!

Flower With and without COA value, by Emile on Oct 11, 2020 11:07:50 GMT 1, Would a COA for the Welcome Mat actually make a difference? I don't believe they are being faked and provenance is relatively easy to establish

Flower With and without COA value, by LJCal on Oct 11, 2020 14:03:18 GMT 1, I have a small vile containing some of Banksy’s pubes found on a urinal in Dragon Bar. Price with COA - £100,000 but I’ll accept £10k and can provide a travel card from 1998 as provenance.

Banksy art is clearly selling for a premium right now. But I think that eventually the market will either normalize or the bottom is going to fall out. If I were sitting on high dollar Banksy art right now and wanted to sell it, I likely would. Art that is being produced today could fetch big money over the next few years.
I do tend to think that the free GDP screen-prints are going to be quite valuable one day. I don't think they are going to be as valuable as a numbered edition with COA; but I think they are likely a good return on investment if you were able to get one when they were cheap.

Flower With and without COA value, by tab1 on Oct 11, 2020 16:31:13 GMT 1, One thing I can not understand is why all the members here seeking for 1-4K why did they not buy when they were first listed on eBay at £1-200?
All the information was discussed on here , only a month after first sales people started discussing provenance in the form of parking tickets ? Still had a good 6 months when they were under 600?

Flower With and without COA value, by Lazarus II on Oct 11, 2020 17:22:19 GMT 1, stood on or not stood on? Everyone is quick to knock without putting in an logical input. I stand by a welcome mat with a coa going into auction at Sotheby’s would be around 70k if you think you’d get an original piece like this with coa for 10k your in yesterday’s prices who do you think will provide a COA and what will it be providing authenticity of ?

Flower With and without COA value, by bonesy on Oct 12, 2020 11:41:53 GMT 1, If Pest Control started giving out COA’s for a 1 color unnumbered screenprint that was handed out on a sidewalk with no registered owner then a PC COA wouldn’t mean so much in the first place.

I'm sorry but logic left the building a while ago, he's having a stiff drink and wondering what the fuck is going on right now.

In term of art, in my opinion, the welcome mat even if bought in the second market is cooler than the rat, it's something like a mixed media nice to be displayed
