Anyways, my point being, that it is becoming glaringly obvious that we've reached the point where it is very easy for a commodity to cross the thin line into "art".
I think what I want to express might work best as an analogy.

I personally would fill the blank with the word "collectables"
It's all just trading cards/collectables for the wealthy.

I don’t buy this story. Or the reporter and/or their source don’t know much about tools. You wouldn’t use an angle grinder to cut out a squareish wall piece unless you have super human strength and grip or enjoy severe injuries.. You use a circular with masonry blade. Duh.
