600th Post - Weird/Funniest Falsehoods, by minibear on Oct 21, 2020 16:49:59 GMT 1, As I hit 600 posts on UAA I thought it would be funny to start a thread sharing falsehoods, things we used to think were true but were in fact ridiculously incorrect.
I remember believing as a child that piss was stored in your nuts. Think I was around 5 or 6 years old and was convinced that was how it all worked.
Glad I got to share that with you all. Feel free to share anything you remember believing as a kid that was a complete falsehood.

600th Post - Weird/Funniest Falsehoods, by mojo on Oct 31, 2020 16:42:27 GMT 1, As a very young child whenever I heard on the news that Guerrilla groups had taken hostages I thought that actual Gorillas had dragged them off to the middle of the jungle and had tied them up with vines and force fed them leaves.
I can't believe I've just admitted that on a public forum.

Hahahah I love this, when I was very young there was signpost we used to drive past to “Dial Post” in Sussex and until very recently I was convinced that it was a sign directing you to a phone on a post for emergencies! I’m 41....
