Now For Sale: Banksy Flags (not mint), by Shoeless on Oct 26, 2020 15:46:57 GMT 1, If I were to list my Flags today, about what number should I expect?
Officially offering this up for sale now.ย It has some rippling but looks great framed. Tru-vue Optium Museum acrylic. I do not have PC COA.ย For these reasons, I am offering it up for (what I believe to be) a reasonable price.
Located in the states. I have a crate for it from when Flight Logistics shipped to me from the UK. Buyer responsible for shipping costs.ย Sorry, no trades.ย
References available if desired.ย
Will provide any further pictures/videos/info that is needed.ย Thanks!

Now For Sale: Banksy Flags (not mint), by Neate Michael on Oct 26, 2020 16:26:25 GMT 1, If I was you Iโd take it to a restoration expert get rid of the ripples and then sell it. Youโll easily get your money back.

Isnโt this paper โfunnyโ? Anybody any experience of restoring one?

Agreed, if itโs only ripples then even with the Chromolux paper you should be able to get something sorted. It starts to get harder/impossible to fix scratches and dings on this paper.

I have.It isnโt as difficult as most people assume it is. As long as the surface of the paper hasnโt been broken it is usually straight forward. I had a thick crease restored and was almost perfect when done.

Now For Sale: Banksy Flags (not mint), by woodman on Oct 26, 2020 19:27:46 GMT 1, The rippling is just normal as far as I am aware. I took mine to a restorer a few months ago and she said it was the same finish as every one she had ever seen (including one that was mint and stored flat since new). I had a couple of very small dings "improved" on the edges from the previous framer. Also had some handling creases that were only visible in certain lights/angle improved. I was amazed at how it turned out.
My restorer was Caroline Harrison in Bristol - recommended on here by a couple of people.

Most restorers will tell you not to do anything with it. There are few, if any gold or silver Flags that are imperfection free. Forum Auctions have a one for sale tomorrow as a current guide on top of the last 4 that sold that range from ยฃ33k - ยฃ47k.
