Is stockx trustable? , by DAVE on Oct 28, 2020 22:07:20 GMT 1, StockX is as trustworthy to buy from as eBay, even possibly more so as it has to go to their offices for a "legit check" before being received by you. Obviously they don't have 100% accuracy but better than nothing.

Sellers have had their items swapped out in the process and sent back a different item after it "failed authentication".

I have sold multiple items through there and it was typically easy and quick.
This past week is serious delay and bs.
don't know what it's like as a buyer..

So their resolution was Iโd pay the return shipping for a less valuable pair than the ones I sent, but they wouldnโt charge me a 15% penalty. Thanks. I fought them hard, back and forth 5-6 times, finally they paid me out for what I actually sold and sent. I really donโt like them as a company, their customer service really is shit, but the platform is convenient and Iโd say 98% of the time you should have a good painless time.

They purchased the item from StockX, and are now reaching out to then regarding the piece being fake. Be VERY careful what you buy from there. They do not have the expertise to catch high quality fakes
