Well, this feeling , sadness, should be reserved to our close friends or families, to this world going wrong, to the kids ... ( just woke up and still in my dream, Iβm not a moralist ). Maybe you would mean frustration, after to coveting, envying, etc ?
Anyway, nobody has been conned ! Why they should be ?
Iβm 99% sure that it is a better one in flesh and that nailed on a wall, you will like it and mates will say ππ» ! Itβs a nice print.
Maybe 200/250 quid should be more fair, but when we see the prices of postcards, tats and prints now we can say it s a gift.
I saw some new prints on here ( I made a thread about, and have to answer ) and well, some arre are really really weaks : all the same subjects, all too much β decoratedβ , complicated, or/and with Dysney characters, bad stencils etc etc .. And they cost at minima 150 ... This one is very purely figurative.
So , better get a Mason I think ( I donβt speak of the value, or you are buying only prints that will get value, as an investment - itβs not a reproach).

We bought what we could ( 45 /85 Β£ - T, sweat - were a bit expensive anyway )..
Now, they still use and will still use this logo ( another artists coming anyway ) with different colors( and as read itβs not so limited : look on eBay they sell at costs ).. just saying that they still used this authorized image that Banksy created, to sell new stuff, that have now nothing to see with Banksy. And we will bought tees and stuff even if we never made skateboard πΉ!

I bought some prints that have no value now. Some that I still liked, some just because I wanted to get one ( an Eelus per example - nothing against him, just an example ) I tried years after to sell it, I only get 57/75 pounds after 6 weeks on eBay ! ). Some are quoting Outis ( sorry but Gonefellow is another level , π top chef, the future !! ) , try to sell one ?! ( He is Jboy no ? ), Nobody will want one. The only prints selling on the bay are the fake ones on eBay with β Dismaland β in the title. I bought great French streetartists or others per example ( you know the 1xrun prints ), is C215 ( a great one ) still selling ? I loved - I still do love - Lushsux , any value ? A lot have disappeared of the real print market. Only Pow stamp makes the difference and itβs a bit a shame for the ones. Yes, MP by Mason wonβt go under his cost. No sale ends. And if it happpens, no worrying at all, you have a Banksy bit buy this artist, that made talking... It had been quoted many times the subject matter of the piece of work should be important, for a small percentage of buyers that is true but the majority of the buyers the importance is the retainment of value and future worth .the majority of purchases in this urban art scene of artists is bought on that format This has been the case in this art scene for decades , old posts from 2006 until now discussing banksy values and future increases in potential worth , before profits were desirable , banksy prints were unsold for months - years on pows website People are prepared to pay Β£500-2000 for postcards and stickers , these price structures will filter to other artists as artists see potential customers disposable income they are willing to Spend on art Masons other prints have gone unsold for years , the skill in his other prints are far superior and skillfully painted than this later release but majority of buyers see value here to be made . there Use to be more vocal thoughts on prices when a new release in the past on threads , pejac,pez,whatson ,chevier , katrin friedriks,miccalef etc Now banksy has been priced out for many collectors more artists will probably play on that fact and fill the gap in the market .
