This is what I was thinking though.
Being cynical the gallery could give a bunch away to "winners" as a loss leader knowing that they will sell the next 3 increasing in price.

I didnβt hear about a giveaway. I asked about purchasing the print, had a few emails and devices to pass. Then yesterday the print arrived totally unexpected. Today the gallery called me to check I had it and congratulate me on winning it.
4 pieces hung may look weird. Or cool?
Think Iβll hang onto if for now as it was free π

I won a print and wondered if it was in fact a clever ploy giving some away to "winners" when I have had it confirmed from the gallery that there will be 3 more to make the complete set.

One thing is certain, Mason, who is my friend and whom I have been following for many years, proclaims loud and clear that he painted MP (probably not alone, we will not know), despite the extremely severe and legal contracts which surround the artists who worked for Banksy. If he hadn't, why then this obsession for years on this painting especially, and not another ?! He therefore considers that he has the right to paint it again or / and to copy it, in any case, as a good agitator (which is part of art, let's not forget it), he transgresses the codes of the market of art and its traditions, which even Banksy transgressed by criticizing museums and hijacking works of art.
It's simple, my faith. Mason is not crazy, I mean, he knows what he is doing, the proof, he has passed the course.
