I think he was too far away for a while and that he had a serious reminder about discretion and / or secrecy (especially if he wanted to release his print on M.P.: which will indeed be in 4 pieces! wow, what a mess it wll be - not for now anyway).
Where do I have my sources? I don't know, surely I'm wrong. On social networks, for a while, there was a bit of letting go (videos, statuses, photos - oh from different persons ) etc ..
Just, why claim for 10 years that he participated in this work, why this painting in particular and suddenly go back? The monkeyphobia ? ;-)
It is a mystery and I do not claim to have the truth. Banksy is a brand first and foremost we all know that, and of course we love to see Banksy as one masked man.
Between excelling in stenciling and asserting myself in other artistic fields such as oil painting, there is a world that I will not cross.

Had one that I bought at the Bristol show sitting in a cupboard. Sold it last November for Β£3k when it realised what it was worth. Was never going on my wall.
