I also find it odd that people pay 1k+ for free mini stik show cards and willingly pay £ 500 + for Banksy postcards but everyone has their individual choice and the collectors desired interests can be strange to others and although it seems here everyone is financially secure but not everyone can afford the same outlay on art as you maybe? Show a person not familiar with Banksy one of his prints and ask them to guess the price of his work?
Until blatant untruths come from source everyone is free to speculate, their own fault for believing any hype and untruths without facts , these are similar size to whatsons mini prints and at £30 can not see what the fuss is about, we know they are nothing to do with mr B

Some galeries play it correct with sale and shipping and in the other side.. nothing ! They could warned us !
Anyway should I pay or not ? DHL has the right to ask me this money ? And if I refuse to pay, the package will go back to

It s funny as I asked him the other day about all this crap and he answered me ( as you said it’s a Mason storm postcards not a banksy lol ! I’m sure that he known that I will have to pay the vat, incredible ( on the description he wrote only « Monkey Parliament print « .., lol maybe DHL thought that it was the banksy one - as you said he could send it - for fans as said Mason - not for highest collectors ).. it’s only a large envelope lol’. Anyway I thread away the dhl notifications making a mistake )...
I ordered 4 Mason Storm at 30 £, still enormous to have 55 € of expenses!

Felt damp too, but the prints were fine and they are great quality for the price. TBH, I did buy them as an investment. Can't see them selling for what we would all like. I held my nose when I bought them as the arrogant, insolent Jamie Marchant sold me a fake Petrol Bomb, and couldn't give a shit. I am not exactly pleased, like anyone would be as I have lost £2000 plus already. |
