I was surprised not to see a thread for the postcards which came shipped in the 1st edition of Wall and Piece cases, set of 4 postcards & paper band per case of books. Not many of these out there...... From a 2006 post in the Wall and Piece thread: The early editions had the white dust jacket [no idea how many] & the 4 postcards were indeed for shop displays [1 set per box I imagine] & included Kissing Coppers, Golf Sale, Warning anti-climb paint & Love is in the Air, held together by a black paper strap with banksy printed in white.

i was just as surprised, especially given how many people out there are paying such high prices for 1 post card that surely is part of a MUCH larger production lot than this set of four... another example of FOMO & out of site out of mind... i have a set myself w/ the 1st edition book w/ dust cover... with more and more people getting priced out of the B print world, and now even the ephemera market, having/wanting something like this would seem a no brainer. i would have thought these would be in much higher demand (and one of the few opportunities to buy an 'inexpensive' B that may still have some upside value)... on the other hand, it may be a good thing that they aren't all over the place - shows how few actually were produced, and the quality of the collectors that own them. it's my understanding (not stating this as hard fact, so don't ask me to provide provenance) any that are still held by the B camp (1st edition book w/ dust covers + post card set) are given to VIP's... |

seems like a no brainer/steal given what people are paying for stickers! and individual postcards with much higher production numbers... these post cards w/ B band/wrap around the cards were given to stores selling the first editions w/ dust covers... |

You can pick up a first edition, first printing for around ยฃ200 (no dust jacket, Hardback) or ยฃ1500 with.. |
