Shame I didn't take pictures but it is completely sealed at one end, strong tape almost like tennis racket grip secured the top end with a wax seal to boot. Inside there was the customary Social-Animals white glove for handling, but also an internal ring of thick card to stop any movement of the rolled print which itself came in a printed dust bag. All rather over the top but was nice a change and almost bomb proof   and got this one too (but for a bday gift and not for me , i'm starting to regret it).

Looks great in person and much prefer it to the smaller 'Ballerina jumping in containers' that is a bit of a dissapoint in the flesh. Agree with you vei , never seen a tube quite like that:)
