The first ballerina/containers print he released was great, I liked it but more importantly my wife really liked it also, but we missed out.
I only buy prints at cost but sometime In the future I can see us getting one ๐

My issue with the street works of JR is that despite all his funding he uses cheap printing with low black contrasts for his street pieces, and it just doesn't look that good most of the time. Doesn't take much effort to hand paint the blacks or even use better printers?
All in all the low production quality ends up reflecting on these prints...

I am probably biased since I own "The Ballerina Jumping in Containers, Le Havre 18 JR".
It is really bringing so much colours to the wall and he is using really nice printing houses, was IDEM in Paris for The Ballerina Jumping in Containers.

And yes placement is important but he has also released print images by themselves (the wrinkled series)

Inside there was the customary Social-Animals white glove for handling, but also an internal ring of thick card to stop any movement of the rolled print which itself came in a printed dust bag. All rather over the top but was nice a change and almost bomb proof
