Icons of Urban Art & Richard Hambleton, by mik on Nov 14, 2020 21:20:26 GMT 1, I've been there at the opening weekend and its a really good show. There are quite a few Original Banksys including the impressive "Are You Using That Chair?" which is said to be exhibited the first time after the crude oils show. The Ariel-Statue from Dismaland and some Prints and many nice original artworks from other great artists. In the basement they show a huge collection of Richard Hambleton works which was really impressive to see in person.
It seems that the people behind the Company that runs the museum own quite a large Banksy collection. Unfortunately they didn't allow to take pictures when I visited but I try to link some stuff I found:

Thanks for sharing this mik. Is there a show guide/catalogue that goes with this exhibition? Not that I know. Maybe they release one at a late date. The exhibition just opened the weekend before they had to close due to lockdown. |
