9k plus tax still gets to 11k, and I was adding a grand of shipping.

Can actually see them selling instantly somehow, but can't see why anyone would want that/those (!) hanging up along an entire wall. He's skilled for sure - but delivery of this is terrible

Regards the seam - I was very sceptical about this also BUT having spoken to someone else yesterday that was also at the brilliant show in Venice he made a good point which was;
A-Forest the original is made from 4 separate pieces of paper, which actually looked great in the flesh, actually amazing.....one of my favourite works I have ever had the privilege of seeing first hand by any artist.
So could this seam also look great in the flesh but photo badly? Who knows until we see firsthand........

It's huge and tiny edition. Obviously not made of everyone.
I'm not sure how much his other hand finished prints are going for, but it I believe it was easily over 5k a while ago, so 10k doesn't look so bad in comparison.
The seam doesn't look great though and there I'd rather spend this 10k on something else.

I have a few photographs larger than this. Once they are bonded, they are no trouble at all to frame and (fingers crossed) very robust

They're making money hand over fist on the postage. Recorded delivery for such a cheap item is not necessary. Print extras to cover loss and damage and ship them as cheaply as possible. Envelopes will be purchased in bulk and at a low cost.

There are plenty of large, old prints on aluminium without seams. There's really no excuse. You can say it's easier, but it's poor visually and it's art; the most important thing is that it looks good and it certainly doesn't. They're making money hand over fist on the postage.
