Thanks for all the messages regarding US/S prints following my previous posts, I'm looking to pull the trigger on one asap so I'm selling a GDP rat to help fund this.
Personally picked up on one of the days I attended GDP. Stored flat since. No damage, so near mint as these can get. I'm looking for offers over ยฃ3.5k.
Artsy has already reached ยฃ3,250 for this print for the upcoming Tate Ward auction with 6 days left to go, so
I don't think this is unrealistic (and no, I'm not bidding on that auction).

Source, i'm the original owner, and I started the thread on here showing detailed pics of the print to help other buyers in the future authenticate their purchases. Think I started it the day I got the rat.
Provenance, well, not that it means much apparently, but I got a parking fine that day which I have a copy of.
The price may not be right, debatable, but the print certainly is.
I paid ยฃ2k and ยฃ2.6k for these in the last 4-6 weeks with solid provenance and legit source just to give context. Itโs really about source, provenance and condition so prices can vary more than other works for these. I can testify to the condition being excellent (as I drove there and back and kept this flat filed since). Source, i'm the original owner, and I started the thread on here showing detailed pics of the print to help other buyers in the future authenticate their purchases. Not sure if you followed the sale of these since last year, but that Outram Rd photo has definitely been used before on ebay for a sale. Not saying that print isn't real, I didn't scrutinize it, but that photo certainly isn't the sellers imo (which brings the rest of the story into question). |

NP. I do think these prints in mint / nr. mint condition are worth 2.5-3.5K though. So many were victims of sticky child fingers, Croydon rain, and general apathy. A lot of casual passers-by must have not twigged that these flimsy chip-papers were worth looking after. If you're being given something free how can it ever be worth anything, right?
And if they aren't quite worth 3.5k now, they will be in, what?, about a week?

I agree that not a high % of these remained nr mint after the show, especially with the ebay ones likely not shipped too well. Who knows how they held up upon receipt. Saying that, I got a poster from an auction house just last week that had a massive dent on one edge clearly done when packaging after the sale. It's a reluctant sale so priced accordingly tbf. |
