I’m cool with buying $500 prints/editions from emerging artists, but $3K?! Come on.You could have bought a much bigger (like x2 the size) OG sculpture from him for about $12K last year.
Has anything significant happened in his career (museum show), that I may have missed since then? I seriously wonder where all these Hypebeast artists will be in 5-10 years?!

Same. Love it but $3k seems like a wild price for an edition that's tiny. I guess it's all relative though - $3k to me is $3 to others.

As I say I just really love his works. Where he’ll be in 10 years - who knows? But that can be said of most of us at the moment!

Seen the price now for medium to large OGs its pretty steep now.
Thought these would have sold out, they look great. not buying myself as funds are low

yeah on a stone base. a few different colors. can't recall the initial price. I know the last edition I think was gold and went to auction for charity. I bid 2.5k but it went nearly to 6k if I remember correctly. so.eone might remember the details better

But to be expected when you immortalize something you can get at the checkout stand of your neighborhood Piggly Wiggly. Maybe it's the resin that makes it look less classy than his other works.
