if the tube is under 90cm (and tube length plus twice diameter is less than 104cm) AND value under £250 then royal mail is the best IMO and will cost around £30

Parcelforce’s compensation doesn’t cover art when it’s leaving the UK. They still allow you to book extra compensation cover but in the terms and conditions art isn’t included.

£250 is the max with Royal Mail
you need a courier service or Parcelforce
Expect it to cost around £100 !!

I have had to claim for art that went missing that went out of the UK and they paid up

It could be where the tube I was sending was to large for Royal Mail so it was put on a Parcelforce shipment, but theoretically there the same company.

IT IS covered Global Priority and Global Value
