Museum of Other Realities - VR art, by Ravnur 2020 on Nov 26, 2020 17:11:46 GMT 1, My wife who is an artist (traditionally working as a printmaker and sculptor combined) has been working with VR art for a few years now. I must admit that I have probably been her harshest critic as I have struggled to really get a feel for and get excited about VR art.
Anyway, recently she was invited to exhibit at the Museum of Other Realities. Last week I went along (in VR space) to the opening of their new exhibition. The exhibition is great! and the way the museum has been constructed really won me over. It was really good fun wandering around the museum, looking at and interacting with the art. People (their avatars) were there from all over the world and it was really good fun chatting with them.
To visit the museum website go here: www.museumor.com/
To be able to access the exhibition and get the full experience you will need a VR headset and a compatible computer.
I would be interest to hear what you ladies and gents think about VR art and if you have any good suggestions of works/sites to look for?
cheers
