I found out to my cost that The ToyZone are scum traders (TM), now I want reassurance that the Kawsone.shop/MaxartSpace is genuine.
It looks convincing when you go into the site and see the gallery pic, but then there some anomalies.
The 'Brian' figure is spelt 'Brain', and they refer to Kaws as 'The Kaws'. I have emailed them twice for assurance, but they have sent photos of stock that doesn't prove much, and their English isn't that good, they just introduce the email as...'Dear...(With no reference to my name) and they just don't seem to have this conviction.
I want to spend with them during the sale (Pinocchio, Holiday Space, Share), but is it legit, please? Thank you in advance.

Your description has enough red flags to say that this is not somewhere you should trust.

Great advice, and you have made my mind up not to go for it. It seems strange that they offer just 200 pieces per item on this site, and yet none of them: Pinocchio, etc - and I know very little about what will be a good investment as regards KAWS - have sold out. Does sound too good to be true. Why would there be spelling mistakes? Models is spelt Modeles, and 'Brain' for 'Brian' as I mentioned. Surely, they wouldn't get the name wrong of the man himself?
Big pity,as I have come very late to all this, and prices for real items are colossal.

That's a crafty tactic by them. Avoid I'd say.
Also, I'm no follower of Kaws, I don't own anything by him but from what I do know, with the money they make on items, I wouldn't expect there to be such huge discounts on genuine items. There's no need to discount, they sell out on release don't they.
