Items reproduced by mechanical or photo mechanical means will not fall under custom code 9702 and will generally fall under customs code 4911 which attracts VAT at 20%. Giclees, digital prints, offet posters and so on all should be charged at 20%. Woodcuts, etchings, hand pulled screen prints, lithographs, monoprints and so on should generally be charged at 5% providing they are limited in number.

Im away at the mo so havent had a chance to see the print... i normally float all my pieces with a white frame, but i saw the below Richter example and thought it looks pretty nice so may copy. Im based in yorkshire and use the Whole Picture Company who are great (www.thewholepicturecompany.co.uk). Hope you recieve your prints soon and enjoy them! |
