Acrylic-display case with a PMMA mirror as backdrop, with glass fibre light line.
50 x 50 x 25 cm (19 5/8 x 19 5/8 x 9 7/8 in.)
With incised signature, title and numbering xx/100 on the side, further signed and numbered in black marker on the Certificate of Authenticity affixed to the reverse, co-published by the artist and Amsterdam Light Festival Foundation.
Artist's Hand - 5.000€
Cast urethane resin multiple with electroplated rhodium, contained in the original cardboard presentation box.
12.5 x 9.5 x 10.8 cm (4 7/8 x 3 3/4 x 4 1/4 in.)
With incised signature on the underside, from the edition of 1000, published by the Public Art Fund, USA in collaboration for Charity to benefit the exhibition Ai Weiwei: Good Fences Make Good Neighbors, New York, 2018.

Worse, I get some sick satisfaction sharing the information if a price has gone up. The latest sale result I've seen on Thin Line was over twice that of any previous sale (link appended). If this is indicative of a trend, and not an anomoly or mistake on my part, then, it goes without saying, this is a great price for a great piece.

Also, in case it's helpful, and in the same obsessive vein as the above, I found a source of the red lasers used for this piece, which will decay over time, although pretty slowly unless left on 24/7. Just in case they go out of production, and based on the average decay rate of the unit and anticipated use (to delight all the friends I don't have and visitors I never have over), I stocked up on approximately a millennium or 2 worth of replacement lasers and connecting fiber despite being neither young or healthy.
