Banksy does less well in France
Used to be you could get good prices on Banksy's a few years ago at Artcurial and Digard, but you had to be very careful as they have no clue what they are selling (see the recent WSM)
Price gap is closing though since his stunts in Paris and a documentary on Canal+ (French HBO)
Artcurial gets great prices and strong visibility on artists with strong ties to France like Invader (Rubik Mona Lisa, record prices on kits), JonOne, JR and a few others

Yes, it probably isnโt a fake. I know them pretty well and I donโt think they will sell a Banksy without COA (from experience)
@vtrapenard will probably confirm when he hear back from Arnaud

From what I know (which I think is the same with other auction houses) is that they insure you the authenticity of your purchase even many years after the auction.

Regardless of their reputation which I also understand to be of a very high standard, if this does turn out to be counterfeit/replica/fake etc (which it would appear that it is) and that the only reason they were alerted of this was down to this Forum thread, then they will need to take a long hard look at themselves.
Iโm in the market for a signed WSM or BME and was interested to register for this auction, obviously this has left me feeling somewhat disillusioned.....
I for one am certainly interested to hear what they have to say
