I was busy getting my beautiful baby daughter (born yesterday) home and forgot all about this one. Not even bothered this time around because I’ve got something even better sitting happily dozing in my arms.

Teaser images shared earlier this week by GP but Nuno has confirmed that it’s a print release from a collab that he and Fanakapan had been planning for years. I’ve not heard pricing but would imagine it to be about the same as previous releases for NV. I’d expect somewhere around £250 - £295.

As much as I like BLR, I do think NV & Fanakapan’s image is much stronger. I will concede some bias in that I love NV’s artwork but the level of detail, shadowing etc is always incredible in his work.

finally received my LA Shirt Mask print yesterday. Brilliant image!

So far, I have only bought screen prints. Therefore, this piece is actually my first giclee print and even though I knew that the quality won't be at the same level and wanted to ask if it is usual to have kind of sprinkles on the print. There are also some scratches(?) which might be from stacking the prints on each other. Here some pictures:











Is it the usual appearance of giclee prints? Some chance to remove these sprinkles? Or is it kind of usual "damage" to the print?

Best to contact Thinkspace and ask for a replacement.
It's a $275 giclee , so you should have top quality.

Thanks to both of you!! Very much appreciate it. My guess is also that it is from the tissue paper. It is quite thicker than those I have seen before.

Thanks for the pictures! That looks indeed much better. However, you also seem to have some scretches in the middle of the shaded area, as can be seen on the first picture. Mine are similar. Probably from stacking the prints... Not sure if there is kind of varnish layer on the print which should prevent such scretches!?

I double checked and those marks in the grey area appear to be part of the original painting. Giclees do tend to scratch if they're not varnished, but these definitely don't look like scratches up close. The thing with giclee prints is that they photograph an original and then run digital prints. The level of quality can vary greatly, but Thinkspace does a great job of photographing the works and they have a really nice printer so the level of detail they can capture is pretty crazy. If you zoom in on the 4th picture you can see the texture of the canvas pretty well.

Edit: if you look at the pics from Thinkspace you can see those same marks in the grey
