I did eventually collect two different Tunji prints for less than retail for AR. I did enquire about the the other etching but Moran Moran increase the price to $14k due to the interest! Good luck with the find and I would suggest looking for the hand finished AA edition as it does look good.

Most of the prints that come out are screenprintsโor giclees (which I feel quite strongly against, personally). Most Lithos today are on aluminum plates and also often mechanically produced. It's rare to find shops that have facilities for stone lithography which is a process where a massive stone is meticulously ground down to create a perfectly level smooth surface and then the image is hand-drawn in oil pencils and developed on the stone through a chemical process. The result produces prints that look and feel like original pencil drawings by the artist.
I agree the pricing seems high and is personally out of my budget. But I do understand it given his blue chip representation, high demand for his work, and his smallest original pieces being priced at $18k with waitlists making them impossible to access.
I'm happy I got his Astral Reflections print, which I still think is the most beautiful one he's produced.
