My favorite sticker is without contest ( sell one at the mo on stickbay ), the WEAPON OF MASS DISTRACTION made by an old mate NME1 Aka Nigel Extance, great stenciler since years and maybe of Banksy - and his own  paint that I bought long times ago - just shot it  ) !
I like it because the punt usine of the best punt ever, Banksy style with a lot of meaning as we know the role of Social Media in our world 🌍) ! Beautiful one !!! And very rare. Unic and sold out. Still have few.

You asked about favorite sticker and why, so let me tell you a nice story

My favorite sticker ever, is the design that I posted below, of a pig sucking another pig, with the text YEAH! and a small written "haram" in arabic :




This sticker was designed around 2008 by an Indonesian Graffiti legend, ONES, who is the founder of Jakarta's infamous Artcoholics crew. I had never heard about him until 2011 when I watched a tv program called "Les nouveaux Explorateurs" on French TV, where Seth Globepainter was travelling around the world to meet graffiti artists in exotic and remote locations. Seth was in Jakarta meeting people, and in the TV show he chat with a cool guy (ONES) that introduce his stickers, including the one above. And explain its fun  and provocative to make an image of pig sucking another pig in the biggest muslim country in the world.... Seth is kind of "WTF", has a good laugh with him and move around.

I like that TV show, I liked that Sticker, and I thought Jakarta would be a strange place to visit one day

Now fast forward in 2015, I relocate from Europe to Bali, take over the only graffiti store on the island and start to organise graffiti events.... and I run into... ONES, his wife and friends. I told him about the TV show I saw many years earlier, we chat about SETH (who became a friend in between), he give me some stickers (including the piggy one), we go out for dinner and have a good night..

It turned out I had a crush on his wife's best friend that night.

Fast Forward a bit.... ONES's wife best friend became my wife in 2018.

I never thought a silly indonesian sticker spotted in a French TV show in 2011 would lead to that chain of events

Thanks for setting up this kind giveaway and thread! I’m going to be interested in seeing what kind of stickers and stories other have to share? Your thread has given me a bit of nostalgia and some good memories I had forgotten. I now remember that as a kid I use to collect stickers and place them in picture albums and spend hours looking through them with my sister, cousins and friends. I recall taking said albums to school where we would flip through them with the intent of trading amongst ourselves, though this rarely actually happened. Most of my stickers where of furry animals, cars, sporting gear or surf and skateboard branding(t&c, Maui &sons, or vision skate). Crazy to think the humble sticker collecting from youth now has some adults paying 1,000 of dollars for supposedly fine art versions?!

I can’t really pick a favorite sticker, as I’m sure it’s in one of my child hood albums in the folks garage somewhere? Here’s a few stickers i found lying about.
Anyway, thanks for taking me down memory lane and my apologies for the ramble.

15. I am a big fan of MauMau's stickers, as well as being bright and colourful there is often a message as well. In addition it reminds me of travelling around Thailand and seeing his stickers along with lots of the other Souled Out Studio artists posted up on the bins / lampposts of Chiang Mai. 

Thanks for sharing these. Anyone who claims to know anything about LA graffiti history knows the impact that SERCH made on this city. A true master of his craft and one of the cleanest one-liner throw ups IMO. At many points in this city’s history in the 2000s, nearly every cross walk light had a SERCH slap tag gracing it.

In answer to your question - probably my favourite sticker is this one by Reuben Dangoor that came with his charity print at the beginning of this year in support of the Australian bush fire fund. I sold the print to a good member on here but couldn't bring myself to part with the sticker.



I've banged on about this artist before on here, I think he's a cool artist with a really strong feel for the zeitgeist, but it's one of my favourites because I feel a strong connection to this guys work. I discovered him right as I moved to London for the first time, and since his work is so connected to the city his pieces felt really tangental to me getting to grips living here - proper culminating in his Sofa Surfing print which was released THE DAY AFTER I moved into my first proper place here, following 3 years of sofa surfing...

Anyways I love it.

Also just for everyone else reading, I've traded stickers with thrash822 in the past - real good guy and great taste in stickers!
