In reference to stephen, IMO Street art should be about art being expressed outside the formal gallery setting and not be restricted by 'thought provocking' hard hitting social and political commentary. I am not saying 'issues' don't have a place but they should not be a criteria shoe -horned into places they don't fit as a means to justify the work's existance which is an approach that seems to be increasingly adopted by forum artists.
Is it still okay to just have fun?
Thats why the Twigger and Baker Art Vendor 3000 Deluxe just makes shapes. An antidote to art about Kids riding Tanks and Hippies with guns. It glows and flashes and is painted in bright colours. Its cheap art in every sense of the word.

Listen, I just returned from an east coast vacation. 2 days into this vacation, I got word that 1 of my close childhood friends OD'd on Heroin. Although it was sad to hear, I was more pissed than anything. He had already OD'd twice, and recovered. It was only a matter of time before his luck would run out.
It is no mystery, what sort of odds one is facing when playin' with H. As sad as the end result may be, I think it's a very selfish indulgence that impacts more than just the user.
But, at some point, you've got to realize that all the help you can muster/offer, is futile. If the user isn't open to reform, then it's just a plight that is destined to end in misery for friends and loved ones of the user.
This being said, at some point you've got to accept the inevitable fate for the user, and disconnect yourself.
